Honoring Bebe Moore Campbell National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month

July is Bebe Moore Campbell Minority Mental Health Awareness Month. This serves as a time to honor and continue the work of Bebe Campbell Moore, advocate, author, and co-founder of NAMI Urban Los Angeles, to create spaces of healing where BIPOC communities can find inclusive mental health resources.

In keeping with Bebe Moore Campbell’s mission, Behavioral Health System Baltimore collaborated with NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore, Centro Sol, Black Mental Health Alliance and Maryland Peer Advisory Council to discuss the factors impacting Baltimore City youth mental health and how to create spaces that support their healing, joy and resilience.
