Participants will receive basic training on the role and responsibilities of a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist and how to serve effectively. Classes will be held May 12 – June 10, 2025.

This training will help prepare peer recovery specialists for the IC&RC Peer Recovery Specialist certification examination.

This domain training for peer recovery specialists will include effective communication and motivational interviewing techniques and the use of Trauma Informed Care.
Advocacy Domain
This training will give peer recovery specialists an understanding of the methods, skills, and traits for successful advocacy.

This training is for peer recovery specialists and other substance use disorder and behavioral health staff.
Ethical Responsibility Domain
This training includes the roles and scope of peer recovery specialists and information about ethics, rights and responsibilities.
Mentoring and Education Domain
This training for peer recovery specialists highlights the skills and abilities associated with the Mentoring/Education domain.

Registered Peer Supervisor Initial
This training establishes an understanding of the differences between supervising peer recovery specialists and clinicians.
