Healing and Recovery in Baltimore

In song, word and dance, BHSB, City of Refuge Baltimore, the Brooklyn community, providers and volunteers came together to celebrate healing and recovery at BHSB’s 8th annual Recovery Day event.

Let’s Talk About Suicide Prevention

Today marks the close of Suicide Prevention Month but the outreach and education never ends.


Everyone can play a role in saving lives. Learn the warning signs for suicide and how to support someone having thoughts of self-harm. And help raise awareness by sharing information.

BHSB is co-hosting two webinars on drug-induced homicide laws. The discussions will explore research and lived experiences of drug-induced homicide laws to uncover how this may look in Maryland during the 2025 legislative session.
