Recovery looks different for everyone. Since 2017, BHSB has celebrated National Recovery Month with community events across Baltimore to recognize and uplift the very different paths people can take in their mental health and substance use recovery. This year's event, Your Community, Our Community: Healing Together, takes place in the Brooklyn community.

Supporting education and outreach for International Overdose Awareness Day

Education and outreach are essential to addressing the opioid crisis in Baltimore. BHSB's Bmore POWER team is at the forefront of street outreach, connecting those in need with services and supplies to keep them safe. Staffed by people with lived experience using drugs, the team uses a harm reduction approach, meeting people where they are.
