Monica Guerrero Vazquez

Monica Guerrero Vazquez is a doctor in public health in training. A leader in public health, Monica champions the inclusion of marginalized communities in policies and programs. She is a trailblazer for Latinx individuals in her community, breaking barriers in health equity through programs and research. She is the executive director at Centro SOL, a Center that promotes equity in health and opportunity for Latinx in Maryland. Monica served in the Baltimore City Trauma Informed Care Taskforce between 2020 and 2025, and has been a commissioner in the Maryland State’s Commission on Suicide Prevention since 2019.
