Aniah Brewer

Aniah Brewer is a senior at Coppin State University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in social work. She is a Presidential scholar, Maxie Collier Scholar, a three-time Remarkable Future Scholarship recipient, a four-time Dean’s List recipient with a 4.0 GPA, and a University of Maryland (UMB) Restorative Change fellow. She is also the President of Coppin’s Social Work Association and Vice President of Coppin’s Phi Alpha Honor Society, Theta Rho chapter. In pursuing her interest in social equity, she has interned under Civic Works with the Maryland Department of Aging Baltimore County’s Ombudsman Program, where she has learned to encourage and empower individuals regarding their rights through systematic advocacy. She also interned with the Cherry Hill Education Initiative, where she explored her passion for non-profit management and grant writing. Ms. Brewer looks forward to attending graduate school after completing her BSW to further her knowledge of macro social work.
