Erricka Bridgeford is Executive Director of the Baltimore Community Mediation Center and Co-Founder of Baltimore Ceasefire 365.
Erricka has been working as a community mediation trainer in Maryland since 2001. She is a is an inspirational speaker and community activist. She has used her voice to advocate to repeal the death penalty and advocate for increased support and compensation for individuals and families whose lives have been impacted by murder. Her life has been impacted by murder since she was 12 years old, and she has been working, for over 20 years, to ensure that murder does not have the last say.
In 2017 she co-founded Baltimore Ceasefire, a movement that rallies Baltimore City to avoid violence during three-day weekends, performs rituals for every person who is murdered in Baltimore, offers space for healing and celebrates life.
Erricka shares her own experiences to foster honest dialogue. She delivers whatever she needs to say with her heart, passion, and humor.
